CLEVELAND - Social is the game the Cleveland Indians are playing before the start of the 2013 season, with a new video on a twisted theme of the iPhone’s Siri feature.
The team posted a video on its website Wednesday showing Manager Terry Francona passing out special cellphones to players that have the “TERRi” feature.
The phone feature is similar to Apple’s Siri, which allows users to speak questions and give voice commands to their phones. TERRi gives the players advice in Francona’s voice, and the phones come in special cases that show Francona’s face.
“Should I wear my hat flat-brimmed or with a curved brim?” asked second-baseman Jason Kipnis.
“Depends on the shape of your head,” responded TERRi.

This humor-themed video was at least the third the Tribe posted during spring training. One featured Francona riding a scooter in Goodyear, Arizona, and the other with him leading the team in the Harlem Shake .

The Indians will lose free agent relief pitcher Joe Smith to the Los Angeles Angels. CBS Sports Jon Heyman is reporting the deal is for 3 years and worth 16 million.
