Aaron Cunningham clears waivers, sent to triple A Columbus

CLEVELAND - After being designated for assignment on Wednesday by the Indians to make room for utilityman Brent Lillibridge, outfielder Aaron Cunningham cleared waivers on Saturday and was sent to the Indians triple a farm team in Columbus.

Cunningham batted .175 with a home run and seven runs batted in. Cunningham played in 72 games. Cunningham's squeeze bunt last Tuesday night against the Detroit Tigers gave the Indians a 3-2 victory.
