AKRON, Ohio - Three Cleveland Indians minor league players have been charged after a fight in downtown Akron.
Police said 23-year-old Beau Mills of Visalia, California, Joshua Tomlin of Whitehouse, Texas and 27-year-old Jerad Head of Topeka, Kansas, were involved in an assault where a person was seriously injured.
The incident happened on W. Exchange Street.
Mills and Head were charged with felonious assault and taken to jail. A warrant has been issued for Tomlin’s arrest.
The Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that Mills and Head play for the Double-A Aeros and Tomlin plays for the Triple-A Columbus Clippers.
