CINCINNATI - Northbound I-71 in the Cincinnati area is shut down after a semi lost control and is hanging over the overpass at Mason-Montgomery Road.
The crash happened around 5:15 a.m. near Exit 19 at Mason-Montgomery Road/Fields Ertel Road.
In addition to the highway being closed, Mason-Montgomery Road below the highway is also shut down in the northbound direction.
Traffic is being diverted off of northbound I-71 on to Mason-Montgomery Road. Drivers can take northbound Mason-Montgomery Road to eastbound Fields Ertel Road to get back on I-71.
Emergency crews are on the scene working to clear the accident and no injuries have been reported.
Road conditions are slick in that area as a result of the winter weather, which is heading toward northeast Ohio.
