COLUMBUS, Ohio - President Barack Obama will speak to graduates at Ohio State University's commencement this spring.
The university said Wednesday that Obama's May 5 speech at Ohio Stadium in Columbus will make him the third sitting president to deliver its commencement address. The others were Presidents George W. Bush in 2002 and Gerald Ford in 1974.
University President E. Gordon Gee says Ohio State is honored to have Obama speak at the largest commencement in its history. About 12,000 students are expected to graduate at the university's first spring graduation on the semester system.
Obama visited the campus four times last year, including in May for the official kickoff of his campaign ahead of his re-election.
