ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio University will renovate more than 70 buildings on the Athens campus thanks to a low-interest loan authorized by the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority, according to WOUB News .
OU will get $29 million in financing to put a comprehensive energy efficiency and conservation overhaul plan into action.
The building renovations will include changes to interior lighting, air and water systems.
The company Constellation NewEnergy will implement the project that will save almost $2 million a year for the university.
