DAYTON, Ohio - A high school teacher in southwest Ohio has been indicted on sexual battery charges after a woman said they had sex when she was a student.
The Montgomery County prosecutor says a grand jury in Dayton on Wednesday indicted 43-year-old Michael Weaver of Centerville. Weaver is a teacher at Centerville High School.
Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. says Weaver is charged with three counts of sexual battery involving a teacher.
A message seeking comment was left at Weaver's home on Wednesday. Court records did not list an attorney for him.
Heck says the woman said she and Weaver had sexual relations when she was a junior at the school between 2005 and 2006.
Officials at the school in suburban Dayton could not be reached for comment after business hours Wednesday.
