COLUMBUS, Ohio - Organizers at the Ohio State Fair want visitors to know there's a silver lining to not scoring big with recent lottery bets.
People attending the State Fair in Columbus on Thursday can present their non-winning lottery tickets and get a discount on their admission price.
Officials say visitors can get $4 vouchers when they present their tickets at a booth outside entrance gates. Regular admission for teens and adults is usually $10.
Events on Thursday included an appearance by First Lady Karen Waldbillig Kasich.
The annual fair opened Wednesday. It runs through Aug. 5.
