CAMBRIDGE, Ohio - A man faces a court hearing after police say he placed his 3-year-old son in a clothes dryer as a punishment.
Guernsey County sheriff's deputies did not see any visible injuries on the child when the man was arrested after deputies went to a house in Cambridge to check on the child.
The Zanesville Times reports Thursday that 40-year-old Jamial Bayly has been charged with child endangerment and is scheduled for a video arraignment in Cambridge Municipal Court.
Sheriff Michael McCauley said Thursday that deputies went to the home Sunday after getting a tip from family members.
McCauley says the boy was released to his mother, who wasn't home at the time of the dryer incident.
Cambridge Municipal Court records don't list an attorney for Bayly.
