CINCINNATI - A woman has pleaded not guilty to charges that she sexually assaulted four children she baby-sat over several years in southwest Ohio.
The sexual assaults are alleged to have occurred in the homes of 62-year-old Barbara Brooks in two Cincinnati suburbs.
A court official says Brooks pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Cincinnati to 15 counts of rape and three counts of gross sexual imposition. The Hamilton County court official says Brooks will undergo a mental evaluation.
Brooks, from the Cincinnati suburb of Colerain Township, was charged Monday with sexually assaulting four children she baby-sat between 2000 and early 2007.
The prosecutor says two of the alleged victims told police in April 2011 that Brooks sexually abused them while they were in her care.
