HAMILTON, Ohio - A college student who authored an offensive flier about rape posted in a coed dorm bathroom has pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge in southwest Ohio.
The flier describing the "Top Ten Ways to Get Away with Rape" was found in a Miami University dorm bathroom last month at the campus in Oxford.
Butler County's prosecutor says the former student pleaded guilty Wednesday to the misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $100. Prosecutor Michael Gmoser says he does not know the amount of the fine but is pleased that the defendant took responsibility.
A judge sealed the case, prohibiting release of the former student's identity.
A Miami spokeswoman says she cannot release the identity or discuss any disciplinary action due to federal privacy restrictions.
