STEUBENVILLE, Ohio - Hundreds of people came out Tuesday to watch a historic bridge in Steubenville blown to smithereens.
Check out the video and you'll see why. It shows an 80-year-old bridge crashing into the Ohio River in grand fashion. Fire rushes across the bridge until it quickly gives way and plummets into the water below.
For decades, it was the primary link between Ohio and West Virginia. It was replaced by a wider bridge in the 1990s and hasn't been used in years.
Officials said the demolition went just as planned.
