COLUMBUS, Ohio - Thousands of Ohio State University students are in temporary housing after a water main break on campus.
According to our ABC affiliate in Columbus, around 2,000 students were forced to flee their residence halls because of the Sunday night incident.
The break forced those in Park, Stradley and Baker Halls to evacuate. Students were moved to the Recreation and Physical Activity Center, located along West 17th Avenue, while crews repaired the line.
The Ohio Union was also impacted by the water line break. School officials said that the break was isolated. It was not yet known when the students would be allowed to return to their residence halls.
