MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Police in southwest Ohio say a man and 11-month-old baby have been killed after a two-car accident left three others injured.
The Butler County Sheriff's Office says the Thursday crash in Madison Township near Middletown happened when a 21-year-old woman driving a Chevrolet Malibu with three other passengers was struck by a 59-year-old man driving a Dodge truck. The woman's passengers included a 2-year-old and the 11-month-old baby.
The woman's 24-year-old male passenger and the 11-month-old were killed. The woman and the 2-year-old are at a hospital in stable condition. The driver of the truck also is in the hospital in stable condition.
Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the woman failed to yield to the truck.
