TOLEDO, Ohio - The latest search for a 1-year-old girl has turned up no sign of her in the part of northwest Ohio where she was reported missing more than a week ago.
Dozens of people on Sunday searched park properties and other areas near Toledo and to the east of the city in hopes of finding Elaina Steinfurth.
Authorities say she was last seen June 2, when her father went to her mother's residence to pick up his two daughters, but only Elaina's 4-year-old sister could be found.
Authorities have searched homes and vacant buildings in area neighborhoods. Last week, police looked at wooded areas near a bridge and used equipment to search for anything unusual in the water.
