COLERAIN TWP., Ohio - A Colerain High School teacher has been indicted for allegedly having sex with two male students.
Julie Hautzenroeder, 36, faces two counts of sexual battery.
One of the students was 16 and attended Colerain, near Cincinnati. The other's age and school are not included in official documents.
The Northwest Local School District placed Hautzenroeder on administrative leave in May. After hearing of allegations, a school district official notified the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and requested a criminal investigation, according to a sheriff's office report.
The school district released this statement Friday:
"In light of the recent indictment, the Board of Education and administration will begin the next steps in the due process procedures. There will be no further comment at this time."
The sex occurred at Hautzenroeder's Loveland home between April 26 and May 15, according to the official documents.
She is single, according to a sheriff's office report.
