CLEVELAND - Video shows a huge solar explosion that caused a disruption of at least half a dozen flights Tuesday.
The energy burst from the solar flare can temporarily affect communications, which led Delta Airlines to redirect flights that were supposed to fly over the North Pole.
No problems were reported with those flights.
NASA released the specially-filtered video, which shows the electro-magnetic burst.
Space weather officials called the solar storm the strongest in more than six years.
