CLEVELAND - Congressman Jim Renacci is the incumbent seeking re-election to the 16th District. That district was redrawn recently using the data from the 2010 census.
Renacci's challenger, Democrat Congresswoman Betty Sutton, was forced out of her district 13, when district 13 shifted farther east.
District 16 now includes the southern portion of Cuyahoga County, the eastern section of Medina County, slivers of Summit, Portage and Stark Counties, as well as all of Wayne County.
We asked Congressman Renacci why he's running for re-election to Congress, why he's a better candidate than Congresswoman Sutton, what the challenges were in the new district, and how he would work with other members of Congress, as well as the President.
