CLEVELAND - Bidding is up to $140 for an interesting piece of Cuyahoga County history.
A shirt reportedly once owned by former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora has been listed on a site that sells “murderabilia.” Dimora was arrested in September 2010 on more than 30 charges, including bribery, related to the ongoing country corruption investigation.
The site, Serial Killers Ink specializes in selling items from famous killers, like Charles Manson and the Olympic Park bomber Eric Rudolph.
The 5XL shirt says “Mayor Jimmy Dimora, Chairman” on the front and “Mayor Jimmy Dimora, Chairman Cuyahoga County Democratic Party” on the back. Dimora served as mayor of Bedford Heights from 1982 to 1998 and resigned as chairman of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party in 2009.
Bidding on the shirt began on Sunday and will end on Oct. 17.
“This shirt was owned and worn by the notorious Jimmy Dimora, of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He has been referred to as the modern day ‘Boss Tweed’ and is currently at the center of arguably the largest public corruption investigation in U.S. history,” the site says.
The Dimora shirt isn’t the only item from Cleveland posted on the site. Soil from the Anthony Sowell's “house of horrors” can be purchased for $25. Sowell was convicted of killing 11 women and keeping their remains in and around his Imperial Avenue house on Cleveland's east side. He was sentenced to death.
Dimora's trial is scheduled to start in January.

Federal prosecutors have a few things to say about Jimmy Dimora's request for release, citing a lack of medical test results about a mass in his throat and an aneurysm. They even call for an earlier sentencing date.
The defense team for the convicted former Cuyahoga County commissioner motioned for his release again after Jimmy Dimora suffered a concussion. Meanwhile, prosecutors motioned to drop the charges for the second trial.
