CLEVELAND - When Jimmy Dimora and his friends boarded a plane to Las Vegas in April 2008, FBI agents were on the same plane to watch his group.

The pictures and video and other evidence gathered by agents on that trip was used to convict the former Cuyahoga County commissioner on federal corruption charges.

The now infamous Vegas trip related to several bribery counts against Dimora.

The jury felt prosecutors proved Dimora accepted bribes, including the gambling trip, dinners and prostitutes, and then used those bribes to throw his influence behind on county contracts and county decisions on projects.

FBI surveillance photos show Dimora, contractor Ferris Kleem, county employee J. Kevin Kelley, contractor Steven Pumper, co-defendant Michael Gabor and others at the Bare Pool, a private topless pool at The Mirage.

Prosecutors said Kleem picked up the tab for many things during the trip, while Dimora called back to Ohio to check on county business, including the Juvenile Justice Center project, which interested Kleem.

Wiretaps have not been released to the public. But in court, one recording featured Dimora describing the nude pool area. "Young broads, old broads. It’s phenomenal," Dimora said on a wiretap. "One’s hotter than the next…This is like heaven over here.”

Full exhibits related to the Vegas trip include dinner receipts, surveillance pictures taken during dinner, surveillance video of Dimora using a limo, and surveillance photographs inside and outside of The Mirage Hotel and Casino.

Redacted exhibits released include the driver's license of Suzzanne Michaels, an escort who spent time with Dimora while in Vegas, Kleem's bank account withdrawals and deposits, and surveillance video and photographs at the Bare Pool.
