SAN FRANCISCO - Two men, accused of brutally beating a San Francisco Giants fan, are scheduled to be arraigned today in a Los Angeles courtroom.
Marvin Norwood and Louie Sanchez, both of Rialto, California are each charged with mayhem, assault, battery and other counts in the beating of Bryan Stow in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium in March. Stow, a paramedic from Santa Cruz, California, remains hospitalized in serious condition with a traumatic brain injury.
Police have portrayed Sanchez as leading the assault on Stow during an alleged rampage through the stadium where the suspects are accused of lashing out randomly at rival Giants fans.
Both men are being held on $500,000 bail each. A Los Angeles judge is also scheduled to hear requests from their attorneys to reduce their bail.
