HONOLULU, Hawaii - President Obama's close friend, Robert "Bobby" Titcomb, was one of four men arrested in an undercover sting operation in Hawaii.
Later released on a $500 bail, Titcomb is suspected of soliciting a prostitute on Monday night.
In the 1970s, Titcomb attended Punahou School in Honolulu with Obama. The two men play golf and basketball together when the President returns home to Hawaii for vacations.
Obama's family has also attended barbeques at Titcomb's home in Waialua. The two men last spent time together during the Obamas most recent vacation over the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
Titcomb has not publicly responded to the charges and the White House has no comment.
