Would you ever want to go back in time to talk to a younger version of yourself?
In a video that has gone viral on YouTube, a 32-year-old Portland, Maine, actor, filmmaker and artist interviewed his 12-year-old self — or at least it seems that way.
Jeremiah McDonald filmed himself in 1992 when he was 12 years old and 20 years later recut the footage to make it look as if he was interviewing his younger self.
In the video, McDonald’s younger, wired version appears to asks about the welfare of several now-deceased pets, while older, calmer McDonald seems to inform his younger version about the Internet.
McDonald posted the video on YouTube Thursday and it has already racked up more than one million views and more than 58,000 “likes” as of Friday afternoon.
