CLEVELAND - The National Academy of Television of Arts and Sciences announced its nominations for Lower Great Lakes Emmys and WEWS received 19 nods, including best evening and morning newscasts. It is the most nominations of any other Cleveland news station.
"This recognition by our peers validates our continuing efforts to bring our customers quality content on multiple platforms," said WEWS News Director Jill Manuel. "I'm very proud to work with a team of such accomplished journalists."
The Emmy is an international award that recognizes excellence in the industry and one of the most prestigious awards given in television.
