CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. - A dispute over a coupon ended with a Walmart shopper in Florida pulling a gun on store workers, police said.
Mary Frances Alday, 61, of Crawfordville, Fla., was arrested Friday on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count each of battery, battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.
Police said Alday became verbally abusive toward a female employee after she was told she couldn't use a coupon she had found online.
After she struck the store's assistant manager with a shopping cart, Alday was escorted out of the store, where she retrieved a gun from her car and began waving it at four workers, police said.
Alday was later arrested during a traffic stop. Police had to use a stun gun to subdue her after she struck an officer several times, police said.
