VIDEO: Man encourages kids to approach, pet wild bison before it charges after little boy

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - Most people would agree that it’s an adult’s job to keep children out of harm’s way.

But one YouTube video tells the story of a man who appears to do the exact opposite by urging a group of small children to approach a wild animal at Yellowstone National Park, while he maintains a safe distance, the Daily Mail reports.

In the video, he can be heard laughing and casually commenting as the irritated bison lunges after the children.

Before the animal posed a threat to the kids, the man caught everything on tape from a few feet back.

He encouraged the kids to walk toward a bison and touch it. Another adult also records the event with what appears to be an iPad.

The man adds narration to the video that foretells a dangerous prediction regarding the bison: “See his head movements, see him gesturing…he’s saying ‘I will get you, I will get you.”

The bison, as predicted, grows restless, and eventually charges off.

The man in the blue vest tells the kids to run as he runs off himself, ahead of the kids. The smallest child is by himself as the bison focuses in on him.

The boy runs off, and thankfully, he is able to escape danger.
