SHANGHAI, China - At least 15 people were injured when a 33-ton aquarium containing shark cracked and burst onto a crowd of people looking at it.

Surveillance cameras caught the incident at the Shanghai, China, shopping center.

When the thick Acrylic glass shattered, the force of the water caused it to cut shoppers and mall staff. The injuries are not considered serious.

The incident killed three lemon sharks, as well as fish and turtles.

Police are investigating the cause of the aquarium accident.

The shopping center said it has no plans to rebuild the aquarium.
