CLEVELAND - A 9-year-old Utah girl doesn't just play with the boys – she shows them up.
In a highlight video that has gone viral, Sam Gordon, ponytail hanging out of helmet, leaves defenders in the dust as she dashes for touchdown after touchdown.
Her speed is impressive and pee-wee league numbers eye-popping. Gordon has run for 1,911 yards, 8.2 yards per carry, and 35 touchdowns, as well as adding 65 tackles on defense.
This year is Gordon’s first playing football, according to USA Today , as she competes with mostly 9-year-olds in the Gremlin age group of the Ute conference.
