There was taxidermy, old people trying to figure out computers and a talking dog who wanted treats. But most importantly, the world was serenaded for the first time by Rebecca Black.

A commercial created by two YouTubers as part of a TV show called "Commercial Kings" on IFC, captivated the world when it showed the magic of Chuck Testa and his love for taxidermy. If you don't crack a smile watching this… then you're probably Chuck Testa.

This is one of those videos where it's so horrifying that you can't look away. TLC introduced its new show, "Virgin Diaries" by making everyone feel really uncomfortable. This couple's first kiss will live in wet, squishy infamy. You may no w eat the bride's face.
8) Deaf woman hears her own voice for the first time
29-year-old Sarah Churman was born deaf. But in 2011, with the help of new implant technology, she was able to hear her own voice for the first time -- and it was all caught on video and shared to the world by her husband. Note: This one's a tear-jerker.
7) NASA time lapse view of Earth
The crew of Expedition 29 on board the International Space Station captured incredible footage of our planet, providing a view most of us could only dream of.
Don't forget to breathe when you watch this video of a few daredevil Russian teenagers climbing a massive bridge without any support or harness. While it's the most stressful video of the year, it's also the most mesmerizing. It's also very illegal, so don't try this.

4) Webcam 101: Senior citizen edition
Bruce and Esther Huffman, AKA "The Happy Huffmans," became an instant hit when they accidentally recorded their goofy, old people antics while trying to learn how to use their new computer.
3) Homeless Man with the golden voice
Ted Williams was your average homeless guy until he was "discovered" by a reporter in Columbus, Ohio, and put on the Internet. The 53-year-old, who went through a rough patch in his life, surprised everyone with his golden voice. After being viewed millions of times on YouTube, the 53-year-old was offered a job by the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers. He is even being pursued by NFL Films.
2) Ultimate dog tease
An exasperated dog has quickly become a hit on the Internet, as he craves meat products. He groans, whines and he lets his owner know how frustrated he has become. The perfectly produced talking dog video was made by Andrew Grantham, a popular Canadian entertainer (30,000+ likes on his F acebook page) but not nearly as popular as the video of his dog Clark, which has garnered more than 79 million hits on YouTube.

You knew it was coming. Fridays will never be the same thanks to Rebecca Black, the energetic 13-year-old girl who took the Internet by storm as she made the life-altering decision: "Which seat can I take?" Will she kick it in the front seat or sit in the back? The world may never know.
