MOSCOW - The answers are out there for people curious about the UFO spotted over Russia.
The mystery started on Saturday, when 25,000 pro-democracy protesters gathered in Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square.
Many caught video of an unidentified flying object overheard, and that video soon found its way online, where it went viral and sparked lots of speculation.
Witnesses said the UFO had blue and red lights, and about five thin objects coming out of its body, like poles or beams.
Speculation grew as people wondered if the UFO was a Russian government spy drone or something more out of this world.
A news service may have solved the mystery. The Russian news site RT.com says the UFO was actually a drone camera launched by Russia’s Ridus news agency.
RT.com says the Ridus drone camera hoving above the square took pictures of the protests, which Reuters used and published online soon after.
