CLEVELAND - The designer label Louis Vuitton is known for its luxury hand bags, fine jewelry, and other high quality accessories.
But have you heard about the Louis Vuitton condom? The designer contraceptive was trending on Twitter early Thursday morning.
The luxury rubber spurred hundreds of jokes on Twitter about the alleged condom produced by Louis Vuitton. But the product is not actually a Louis Vuitton product.
It was made by architect Irakli Kiziria , who's not affiliated with the company, and has actually been around since fall of 2011. The product even has an official website but it appeared to be down early Thursday morning.
The product resembles that of many items made by Louis Vuitton. It has the label's well-known brown packaging with raised lettering. It even has the LV logo on the actual brown-colored condom.
The price is a lot more than a regular condom. It will cost you just $68 for just one rubber. To put that price into prospective you can get a 12 pack of Trojan condoms for $10.
