CLEVELAND - Several elevator passengers experienced a terrifying ride as shown in LG’s latest advertisement for its new IPS television monitors.

The company describes the new monitors as having “lifelike colors.” To prove how lifelike the colors are, several technicians rigged an elevator floor with multiple television monitors. They also installed hidden cameras to capture the reaction of the riders.

The ad, which has gone viral on the Internet, shows several passengers jumping back in surprise from what they believe is the elevator floor disappearing below their feet. They soon realize the disappearing floor is actually just comprised of TV monitors.

Some speculate the ad features actors and is not real.
