Five inmates in an Idaho prison are not only are they blaming alcohol for their criminal behavior, they're suing the liquor companies.

They want a billion dollars from eight of the largest beer wine and liquor companies in the world.

They said they didn't know about the addictiveness of alcohol when they started drinking as kids.

Their crimes range from manslaughter, grand theft and drug convictions.

“And from that point on I just became the hellion, you know? The wild child, I would steal money out of my mom's purse so I could go out and have a good time."

The defendants include Anheuser-Busch, Miller Brewing and the makers of Jim Beam. The companies have not responded to the lawsuit.
