HOUSTON - It's no secret that homeowners have to sometimes slash the price of their home in order for it to sell.
That's the case with the owner of a mansion in Houston, Texas. The house was originally listed at $20 million. But after sitting on the market for 7 years, the list price has been reduced by almost $15 million, to a mere $5.9 million.
For that bargain basement price, you get 10 bedrooms, 25,000 square feet of living space, 8 bathrooms, 4 kitchens and a home theater.
Oh, and it comes fully furnished.
The property is also surrounded by water and lush gardens.
The owner says she dropped the asking price of her custom-built home because she can no longer afford it and needs to move on.
