Who says you can't be sexy over age 50?

AARP just came out with its list of Sexiest Men Over 50 and the list is not just based on looks. AARP said the men chosen are a hot mix of lovers, thinkers and rebels that have soul, style and sex appeal.

The 21 people on the list were not just judged by physical appearance, but also brain power, sense of humor, individuality, artistic ability, generosity and goodness of heart.

Here are some who made the list:

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell is on it, along with former Utah Governor and ambassador to China, Jon Huntsman. Huntsman, the father of seven, once played in a rock band, rode his Harley on the campaign trail and referenced rocker Kurt Cobain during debates.

Actor George Clooney makes the list not just for his looks but also as a human rights activist who has been vocal about the atrocities committed against the people in Darfur.

Rocker Jon Bon Jovi is named. He was appointed to serve on the White House council for Community Solutions in 2010 by President Barack Obama.

Actor Liam Neeson is said to have sex appeal for remembering his roots. Neeson, a native of Ireland, used to work in a Guinness beer factory and says he reminisces about driving a forklift.

Another actor, Samuel L. Jackson is hot right now with the hit movie Avengers and he was dubbed down to earth by a former director.

The list appears in the June/July issue of AARP, the Magazine and is also on AARP's website: http://www.aarp.org .
