CHICAGO - For many, doughnuts and pastries are a morning vice, but bakers in Chicago have come up with a way to make you wait till it’s five o’clock somewhere to take a bite.

Delightful Pastries is introducing “drunken doughnuts.” And they are exactly what you think they are. Doughnuts filled with liqueurs, liquored up custards and liquored up jams.

Owner of Delightful Pastries, Dobra Bielinski says even though her deep fried doughnuts are injected with boozy concoctions, they are legal for everyone to enjoy.

That’s because the fillings are cooked to eliminate the alcohol, but the rich flavor remains.
