CLEVELAND - Video of a woman returning home from military service has gotten a lot of attention on several blogs over the last few weeks.
On YouTube alone by late Wednesday afternoon, the homecoming video featuring Daisy, a beagle, had more than 420,000 views.
Not much is known about the woman and her dog. The video submission on YouTube was posted by a blog that highlights happy homecomings.
The video appears to have been taken by the woman's husband. The submission states, "I filmed this when my wife came back from a 6 month deployment last fall. Our beagle was still a puppy when she left, and was full grown dog by the time she came back."
The clip starts out slow, with the woman, identified only as Amanda, walks into a home and goes over to Daisy, sleeping in a dog bed. The groggy beagle eventually realizes who has disturbed her sleep. Loud, happy whimpers and hard tail-wagging follows.
