PHOENIX, Arizona - A Phoenix, Arizona man proposed to his girlfriend in a ghoulish way. He arranged for a group of zombies to help him pop the question at a haunted house.
The haunted house was called the 13th Floor and that's where Nick Showman decided he would ask Stephanie Hill to marry him.
The first half of their journey through the haunted house was pretty uneventful but then they ended up in Zombieland.
The zombies pinned them down, surrounding them on a bridge. From above, a zombie sweeps by and drops an arm. That's when Nick grabs it and puts the ring on the severed arm asking Stephanie, "Will you take my hand in marriage?"
She said yes and the zombies cheered, the chased them out of the haunted house.
Stephanie admits Nick had her fooled.
"I didn't know what he was doing. He just sort of stopped and I'm like, 'What are you doing? There are zombies! Let's go."
But in the end, Stephanie said it was a great way to propose.
