CLEVELAND - There was a scary scene on Monday in downtown Cleveland at a parking lot across the shoreway from Cleveland Browns Stadium.
A wall collapsed, smashing cars at the lot knows as “The Pit,” along Old River Road and Front Avenue. Some cars were left dangling off the edge of the building. Weather is believed to have caused the problem.
"We could've been crushed… It was just good timing. The three of use went into the courtroom and came out and this is what we had,” Brittany Hawkins, the driver of one of the cars, said.
No one was hurt, but the collapse did cause tens of thousands of dollars in damage.
