PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Throughout Lake County, more than 600 volunteers from local businesses are lending a helping hand in the community for people in need.
It's part of the 19th annual United Way of Lake County Day of Caring.
Volunteers from 42 different companies pitched in to make a difference in the community. Most of the work involved painting, landscaping, mowing and tearing down a rotted garage in Painesville.
With Wednesday's nice weather, the volunteers were able to spend time outside while sprucing things up.
