OAK HARBOR, Ohio - An electrical panel inside the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station caught fire early Wednesday.
A representative for FirstEnergy said the fire was extinguished in minutes and there's no threat to the community.
Officials said the cause of the fire was due to an unknown source of water leaking on a breaker. . There was no impact on core cooling, or emergency power supplies.
While crews replace the reactor head, the plant remains closed.
