CLEVELAND - Arthur Dolman got out of prison for a drug conviction in January 2003. Over the next three months of that winter, authorities say he terrorized women in the MLK and Kinsman neighborhood of Cleveland raping women at knifepoint and gunpoint.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason said Dolman has now been connected to at least five rapes and or attempted rapes. Mason said DNA testing has just resulted in Dolman being indicted on two more rapes involving cold cases from 2003 and 2001.

One of the girls Dolman attacked seven years ago was a 12-year-old girl walking home from Nathan Hale Elementary School, according to the prosecutor. Dolman attacked the girl and took her to an abandoned garage, where he attempted to rape her.

"He's out of control raping women with at gunpoint, knife-point, raping them," Mason said. "I'm hopeful he'll get another 100 years and get whatever he deserves in prison"

Mason, who created the Cold Case Unit, said the unit received a federal grant and is able to do more computer DNA testing that cross checks all state prison inmates DNA with evidence from victims of unsolved sexual assaults.

The computer system is called CODIS which stands for Combined DNA Index System.
