COLUMBUS, Ohio - State offices and those in some Ohio cities will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.
The state is observing Veterans Day on Monday, though the holiday fell on a Sunday this year. All state agencies will be closed Monday, as will offices in some cities.
Cincinnati and Toledo offices were scheduled to be closed Monday, while those in Cleveland and Columbus were set to be open. Some universities and colleges, including Ohio State University, will also observe the holiday Monday and hold no classes.
Columbus celebrated Veterans Day on Friday with a parade and recognition enhanced for the capital city's bicentennial year. Dozens of other Ohio municipalities were holding ceremonies, memorials and parades on Sunday.
