RITTMAN, Ohio - The sounds of a 21-gun salute and taps echoed through the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman Wednesday morning. 

Family and friends gathered to pay their final respects to Marine Cpl. Clarence Huff. 

Huff was killed in action on Dec. 2, 1950, during the Korean War.

His remains were never identified.

Huff had been laid to rest, as an unidentified Marine, in the National Memorial Cemetery in Hawaii.

On May 18, 2012, his remains were identified by chest X-rays and dental records.
