WOOSTER, Ohio - A bomb threat just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday forced the evacuation of the city of Wooster Municipal building.
Adjacent homes and buildings were also evacuated as a precaution, police said. Wooster City Schools were notified so that Cornerstone Elementary could take appropriate action for dismissal.
Police also closed North Market Street, between East Larwill and Bowman streets, for three hours until they gave the all-clear.
Explosive sniffing canine units from the University of Akron and the Summit County Sheriff's Department were called in to help search for anything suspicious.
No bombs were found.
Authorities cleared the scene around 5:30 p.m., but employees had already been released for the day.
