Woman convicted for not disclosing HIV status to sexual partners

AKRON, Ohio - A woman has been convicted after not telling sexual partner her HIV status.

Kelly Bean, 47, of Lima, was found guilty of two counts of Felonious Assault, felonies of the second degree, Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh said Friday.

Bean is HIV positive and had sex with two different men without telling them she had HIV beforehand.

Bean will be sentenced March 11 at 8:30 a.m.
