Victim of fatal Barberton house fire identified

BARBERTON, Ohio - Officials have identified the person who died Saturday in a house fire in Barberton.

Firefighters arrived to the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue around 1 a.m. to find the home fully engulfed in flames.

The victim, 54-year-old Robert Saunders, was found dead inside, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office.

The blaze remains under investigation.
