AKRON, Ohio - A Tallmadge man is under arrest after police say he robbed two banks over the weekend.
Police said Steven Charles D’Agostine, 43, robbed the Gen Fed Credit Union at 2492 Wedgewood Drive shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday.
D’Agostine allegedly entered the credit union and handed the teller a note, indicating he had a gun and demanding money. Officers said the teller then gave him an unreported amount of money and he fled in a black Ford Focus.
D’Agostine is also suspected of robbing the Huntington Bank in Cuyahoga Falls on Sunday.
Police said they located him at his home and took him into custody without incident.
He has been charged with aggravated robbery and booked into the Summit County Jail.
