STOW, Ohio - Stow’s Holy Family Catholic School received its 2012 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award on Tuesday in Washington, D. C.
The award is given to both public and private elementary, middle and high schools by the U. S. Department of Education based on academic achievement.
Each year only 50 private schools receive the award.
Holy Family was ranked in the top 10 percent in the nation in reading and math.
