CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio - The owner and manager of The Jewelry and Gold Exchange in Cuyahoga Falls were arrested in connection with a series of burglaries, police said.
Cuyahoga Falls officers were investigating burglaries in the city when the executed a search warrant on Thursday at the store on State Road.
The manager, 30-year-old James J. Vecchio, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested for tampering with evidence, receiving stolen property and obstructing official business.
Police also arrested 36-year-old Salvatore J. Vecchio, of Streetsboro, for tampering with evidence. He owns The Jewelry and Gold Exchange. The police department did not indicate the relationship between the two men.
Both men were taken to Stow Municipal Court, but have since been released on bond.
